When RoRo fits

Running cars, standard timelines, lowest cost. You drive to compound (or truck delivers), vehicle rolls onto vessel. Fuel must meet quarter-tank rule.

When container fits

Non-runners, classic cars, shipping household goods with the vehicle, or destinations without regular RoRo service. Tank must be empty.

Fuel prep differs — plan accordingly

Do not assume RoRo rules apply to container. Book the correct drain level with your forwarder before port delivery.
